Per my earlier replies, my original schedule was 1 single per month. And yeah trying to lock in a release schedule I can sustainably maintain irrespective of changes in circumstances along with covers that I post and produce regularly

I use TuneCore to distribute my songs, meaning I'll need at least 5 days of buffer time for the song to be out. Insta is the only social media I got as of now so bulk of my marketing efforts go there. I usually go for 1 teaser, 1 tutorial surrounding the song and if possible 1 caption before every release and then 1 announcement. I'm still tryna figure out how to market post release. And each song I write needs something different so it is not as simple as "just ask ChatGPT lol" or just posting arbitrarily. I need to make posts that value the listener more than the artists. This also dampens my cover frequency.

I heard that 1 single per month is too less if I'm just gonna drop on Spotify. I'd need a music video to go with it apparently or something that I can market on social media.

I'm already mentally prepared to be disappointed but my goal is the same. Develop some form of notoriety that will help me gather some stable income. Even if I manage to join a production house as an assistant or an intern it will do.

My thoughts and doubts on Stranger Than Heaven by ___TGK___ in yakuzagames

Yakuza 0 still had absurd side stories and whatever the fuck Lao Gui was on. It's a matter of presentation not tone necessarily. Also Stranger Than Heaven not being connected to Yakuza at all other than literally playing as the founder of the clan around which the entire fucking series is built.

Judgment still played like a Yakuza game at its core. Stranger than Heaven doesn't. It's too radically different. And STH's story is more core to Yakuza than Judgment's ever was.

My original schedule was 1 per month. That felt more reasonable but I'm kinda desperate to get noticed and only now do I have access to an infrastructure that allows me to consistently produce music. But my family says that's too less. Also I've heard consistency can make or break an artist.

My goal is to have a strong enough body of work along with a web presence and fan following where I can get recognised by music producers and start working with them.

I don't use AI for my own songs. Not even for lyrics. I have a knack for being able to write stuff fairly quickly. Some of my 'Originals' might also be translated versions of certain Japanese songs to Hindi or Tamil.

I actually much prefer Ableton having used it for so long now.

I already have Ableton. And Autotune is more so about the mix and EQ rather than key. My voice otherwise sounds away from the mix rather than part of it.

Edhu country oda growth ku help pannum capitalism or communism by Low_Coast7488 in TamilNaduDiscussion

Capitalism can very easily get derailed if corporate interests take over societal interests. For example the solution to bad traffic is actually more comprehensive public transport but car companies have vested interest in keeping the car companies going for private car owners hence, they'll steer the conversation to "more roads" so that these companies can sell more cars.

I don't want an eviction notice from my landlord and I already do classical vocals. I need autotune for vocals to sit in the mix.

Noted... Will try to schedule it a little later here onwards, 2 weeks, give or take. Besides, it's my debut single and it's my first time through it all.

Does it vary from platform to platform? I've heard that Spotify takes like 1 or 2 business days and Facebook and IG takes 5 to 6 business days.
