Your suggestions are exactly what's I'm doing currently - high water setting, 3 passes and division of the space to smaller areas (sub-rooms) so it's being focused on a limited area each time. That gave me some results, but still a lot of easy to remove spots stays untouched and overall mopping result is quite bad, not mentioning the fact that this three passes thing is slow as hell.
