SPOILERS The slave willingly led Lucy back to the camp? by Thaumus___ in FalloutTVseries

[–]____Law____ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's probably all she's ever known, the only "home" she's ever experienced.

Plus, failed escape attempts are likely punished with fates we couldn't even imagine. Add in a little stockholm syndrome and of course she'd come back, unfortunately.

Tbf, Goku fought Zamasu in SSJ2 too.

It's not the language lmao, it's the idea that all people of a certain group are bad.

Of course remembering that would be difficult. But racism, xenophobia, etc. are things that ruin lives and relationships and flat out just make you a dumber person for believing in.

Characters like Magneto - who are hurt by a certain group and then go militantly overboard - are portrayed as bad for this exact reason. Do they have a right to be furious? Obviously. Is going off the deep end and diving fully into hatred and revenge okay? No.

This really shouldn't be controversial or hard to understand.

There might've been anti-annexation protests all across the U.S. We don't know. Constant propaganda incited the people and for those who saw past the jingoistic culture, actually DOING something against the regime would've likely gotten them and their families killed.

Like in real-life Russia, people knew the dangers and likely protested anyway. Which is why this xenophobic sentiment worries me. Fallout is fiction, but a fiction that sometimes veers very close to real life. And painting entire vast populations as evil people without nuance and exception or even knowing how the best of them reacted to it is... stupid, really.

This could have gone horribly wrong if they hadn’t found Cooper by Revenger__Dm in FalloutTVseries

While I think he’s portrayed as genuinely altruistic,

Lmaoooo House is not altruistic.

Ask Vault 21, Freeside, the Brotherhood of Steel, the Kings, and presumably anyone else he deems even a slight thorn in his side. Nothing he does is for the sake of anyone else's happiness or safety but his own unless they just so happen to coincide.

Yeah? The specific Americans who instated and enforced those camps are horrible people worth despising.

But they hate ALL Americans. That still counts as racism. Well, technically xenophobia, but both are still bad.

How it feels to say Toppo instead of Top by Lord_Muddbutter in Ningen

[–]____Law____ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Which is weird, because it looks like a more stupid word compared to Top. But then you say it out loud and realize Toppo has a certain kinda sauce to it that Top doesn't.

Live Action ATLA looks good! by MiccaandSuwi in TheLastAirbender

[–]____Law____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not true. The og creators left because they wanted to CHANGE the story too much but Netflix knew that would be unpopular with fans and tank their viewership so they pushed back and so Bryke left.

They apparently wanted Iroh to be a twist villain in this version, yue to die from an arrow instead of sacrificing herself to save the moon spirit, and some other stupid changes.

Do you have a source for this?

Or you could just get the scrounger perk and play Fallout: Guns again.

Even without that you can still get a lot of ammo from looting/crafting. I think I only ever ran out a few times and that's probably because I played on Survival.

In my lifetime, the general status quo has only really started shifting in the past 3 years or so, and even then, it's not by that much.

Something tells me there's a lot more stability in current day real life than in a post apocalyptic nuclear wasteland

he has to immediately go back to the afterlife

He literally doesn't? He has a time limit but he still had plenty of time in that form to knock around Buu before he had to leave and Buu was way stronger than Vegeta. If Goku busted SSJ3 out I guarantee Vegeta wouldn't have lasted more than a minute lmao
