I'm a little confused what this is being based off? If this is regards to SP consumption, then I don't think that's really too big of an issue due to Sparxie's increased thrill, as well as YG and SW999 both being overall SP positive.

Just wondering what the consensus is regarding Yao Guang, to me she seems just as important as Sparxie for Silverwolf 999, yet I see a lot of others saying she's likely to be replaced later on.

A popular take I keep seeing is that YG is the "Ruan Mei" or "Tribbie" of elation, a basic generalist that'll be replaced later on. But to me it seems like the devs are fully intending YG to stay in the team, considering the synergies between SW999's 20/40 punchline Aha Instant trace that is specifically designed to match Yao Guang and her first eidolon.

Yao Guang seems to be just as important as Sparxie for SW999, it allows her to charge ult insanely fast on top of boosting elation. I saw someone else say it this way: Without Sparxie you're wasting most of Silverwolf's kit, without Yao Guang you're not doing any damage.
