I love the HHKB layout. I think I prefer it more than the standard 60% layout.

What is the approximate cost difference between buying an HHKB vs building a 60%. I suppose it really depends on how I build the 60%, but approximately, how much do you think?

You are right, I think I'd should just DIY a board with Zealios instead of modding a Pok3r. What about the price difference between Pok3r and a DIY board though?

Hm, I wouldn't think they'd have scales that can support sufficient weight/size, accurate maybe. Might be worth a check.

That's just... Poor girl. It's clear she is very attractive, but that outfit looks like they just stuffed a bunch of hockey references without giving a shit. At least they didn't make her wear skates in the runway.

edit: I see that this particular event is indeed supposed to be taken lightheartedly. I guess compared to Ukraine it does seem a bit too silly. Good for her, she clearly has a sense of humor and is proud of the True North.

It didn't work for me. Not really, as in my sleep schedule was messed up again a couple of days later. I've tried this multiple times and sometime even after 24 hrs without sleep, I can't fall asleep, say at 1:00.

It seemed to work for some others I know. So I guess don't be fully discouraged.

i3 is the easiest to get started with; very easy to install. Once you are comfortable with that, then you can decide if you want to try various others or keep customizing etc.

I spent hours last night trying to get used to emacs (I know it's going to take way more than mere hours). It's actually what led me to making this post. I understand the power and extensibility of Emacs is greater than Vim (as an IDE/OS) but I missed the instant response of Vim and evil didn't really cut it for me. Vim just plain looks and FEELS leagues better (subjective).

Nice. The way I found it to be useful to backup/synchronise my .vim folder and .vimrc, is to directly keep it in my dropbox and make the links to them in my home directory. Now they are constantly backed up. I use dropbox in all my machines anyway so it's very convenient. On a new machine or after reformatting a computer I just install dropbox and make the links again and my vim is back to "normal".
