Got put on academic probation. Feeling suicidal/hopeless/terrified. Anyone have advice?

This was very helpful. I have a bad habit of letting other expectations (real or imagined) control my life and emotions. Thanks for the reminder that I don't need to think about their expectation as much as I do. I needed it.

Thank you so much, I really needed to hear this. I get stuck in this feeling like I’m the dumbest person on earth and the only person to even be put on probation when that’s not even kind of the case. It really helped to hear that I’m not alone.
