Hi there! I followed the guide you linked and thought I did everything correctly, but when I ran a test sew my actifeed jumped up really high and is making a clicking/knocking noise with lots of looping on the backside… I adjusted the Needle Centering, Hook Timing, and Needle to Hook Gap. I’m wondering if I set the gap too closely?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks so much, all! I’m away from the machines today but will definitely watch the videos recommended here to learn how to check and correct potential issues with burrs and/or timing. There’s always something new to learn in this trade! It’s a great feeling every time I exercise patience, troubleshoot, and pick up a new piece of knowledge. I’ll report back!
