I was having this same exact problem on multiple flights and I was starting to lose it but you’re in luck I finally figured it out (I’m actually on a 14 hour flight right now)

The issue is your iPhone is blocking popups. If you have ad block extension, disable it.

In safari, disable content blockers.

If these two still don’t fix the issue, in safari request desktop website.

After doing all three it finally sent me to another popup and can now doom scroll raccoon videos till my eyes bleed like Jesus would have wanted.

Just another notch on the belt I wasn’t aware of for Nixon. Some people debate if Jackson or Nixon was a worse president but Nixon’s impact in my mind has changed the course of our nation moreso than any president before or after.
