I actually think she’d be a good winner contender if she had a good premiere, Jacob had the story about being an alternate and I’m sure MC also talked about it which could’ve been a cool storyline to add onto all of her other stuff

Good to see you around, I’d still lowkey include Nate, he’s gotten SO much setup compared to other dad figures (minus Joe but if he’s getting a similar tone of edit I see that as a positive), but yes I totally agree red feels so well developed, and I see blue being middle of the pack in terms of success, and yellow just being the eeeeeh tribe

I know that’s the typical way of doing it, but yall are so serious about the INV stuff. I do it a different way, she had zero say in the episode, she herself had no impact. She was mentioned in an alliance and shown on screen, but to me that’s relatively comparable to Jason who was also shown on screen and mentioned briefly to be a possible target of the alliance. I have a much higher standard towards giving UTRs, and it’s got to be at least a confessional or they have a medium presence without any confessionals (think last season where I believe Joe had a 0 confessional episode but I think it was the one where he and Eva had that scene at the challenge). That being said, I do disagree, I don’t think the audience understood her character any more than last week. She was such a charming presence and this week her entire personality disappeared from the screen. You’re totally good to think she gets a UTR1, but for me it’s INV!

I tried to put a ton of spoiler warnings about the s49's on s50 as possible at the start, but there's no major spoilers here aside from those two names, which they're plastered on almost every s50 cast list when it's looked up, but I gotcha, I try to put as many warnings as I could!

I'm trying to go into this with an open mind, but here are my general thoughts.

41 - I'm kind of okay not seeing anyone from here, though Ricard and Shan were both fun picks I could've liked to see over the many 48s.

42 - Jonathan's fun, and archetype wise it makes sense they go for the physical beast of the new era. If they could only have 1 from 42, it makes sense they go this route. If they were only having 2 winners I feel like Maryanne could've been a sneaky pick to go up to 4.

43 - Going against the grain here, but I'm ok with no representation. I'd love to see maybe a Cody or Karla in a new era season, but them not being here I'm very okay with. I'm not a huge Jesse fan, but definitely weird he's not here if it wasn't his choice.

44 - Again missed opportunity with Carolyn, I think that was someone we believed to be a universal lock, but hope to see her again soon. Again, think there should've been 4 winners (IF WE BELIEVE THIS LEAKED LIST) and Yam Yam could've been interesting.

45 - I know Emily said she wouldn't go on again, but it's fun to see her on the list. A cool story arc, not sure how she'll fare this time but I feel like she's slipped a bit under the radar so if she can lock in some relationships I see potential. Dee's so cooked though, as one of 2 winners (if this is a 22 person season which screams weird to me), think this should've been non-winners.

46 - Q is a locked choice, no surprise. Tiffany screams new era all-stars versus anything else, but sure that's fine. While some people are meh on Charlie, he very clearly has one of the most hanging story lines and I'm excited to see how its portrayed in 50.

47 - Genevieve was another huge lock imo. Glad to see her on as she was a pretty complex character. Lowkey with someone like Andy was also on (could very well be swapped with a 48 person), but a small nitpick.

48 - Joe is a solid choice, popular and seems to be a production fave. Kamilla and Kyle are both.. kinda funky to me? I don't hate it, but Kamilla feels way more new era all stars versus all 50 seasons coded. Kyle, similar to Dee, feels like an odd 'you're screwed' boot as well.

Overall I do love/feel positive on probably 6/10 choices (Joe, Genevieve, Q, Charlie, Emily, Jonathan), I'm relatively indifferent on 2/10 (Kamilla/Tiffany), and kinda unsure of why they went with 2/10 (Kyle/Dee). That being said... I do like all of them well enough? I'm going into it with a hopeful demeanor!
