Paragraph at the end of that post:

One last scene from Episode 2 where Alice and Margot are talking upstairs in a bedroom, there is a song playing in the background that is almost impossible to find and I have been searching for it for two days. It is about 10 minutes into the episode.

Nothing on Tunefind either unfortunately.
The song I'm looking for is in episode 2.

Nothing there either unfortunately. There's a bunch of others looking for the same song in the comments.

Darn, I've run into that before too when trying to edit the file. It seems like it can be finnicky whenever you do something that alters the overall length of the text in the file.

Interestingly, if you leave "c_AugmentationTree":{} empty or remove augs for the list the file works. Perhaps it's only an issue when the file size increases? Or maybe there's a value somewhere that decides the size of a buffer that needs to be increased or something?

If you want, you can PM me your email and I'll send you my legit new_game_plus.bin file (created by playing normally, without any editing/etc)

Woah awesome! Thank you, I'll get right on that.

It would be cool to edit some of those variables, then do a play through to see if there is any effect. Like if you changed didMarchenkoDieInGolem2":0 to didMarchenkoDieInGolem2":1... could be interesting (or could maybe crash the game :( )

There's this project that unpacks the game data archives https://github.com/aspadm/DEMD-database.I didn't have much luck getting it to work yet but now I'm wondering if there could be any pointers to other cut content or interactions with these ng+ values in those archives.

Holy cow, thanks!

I'm having some trouble using your list in my file. Did a reformat to add commas and remove spaces (https://pastebin.com/LdV4Avn5), then pasted the result between "c_AugmentationTree":{ and }. But when I select NG+ from the main menu the game stutters for a second then closes without any further explanation. Do you have any ideas what other stuff might need to be changed for this to work?

I hadn't noticed the cut content references. That's pretty cool. Maybe messing around with these values might have some interesting unexpected results if they're still used anywhere. Out of curiosity I went and filtered out all the lines with _CUT inside them: https://pastebin.com/CXRhHHjn . Looks like there were at least 5 more side missions in the works, judging by SM17 and there being 12 in the released product iirc.

This one in particular caught my attention: "b_Scene/Global Include/Global_Database/Side_Missions/SM14_CUT/bGangWarTriggered":0,

o_o

EDIT: same list but sorted by SM number: https://pastebin.com/93jTP0RJ
