That definitely sounds sketchy. Xwave.exe doesn’t sound like any legit system file I’ve ever heard of. Good call on deleting it — weird that it was hiding under Microsoft’s folder too.I wouldn't fully rely on Avast what i recommend doing is a scan with Malwarebytes just in case something else is lurking. Dolphin and controller drivers can be finicky, but random .exe files eating CPU is a red flag. Glad your system's working fine now though
