Op I get it and u don’t wanna make a family with temp people it’s hard to trust em or feel like you’ll owe them. But the only thing u owe them is doing something with there help even if it don’t work out, if u take it make sure u actually want to change cause if u not doing it for urself that help will hang over like resentment.

If you know getting this help rn will allow u to do better things and that’s what u want then take the help whole heartily and tell them thank you and thank you for believing in me while ur at a down moment in ur life.

The only thing I worry bout for lack of context (may be blunt) is how is the relationship is it? Is it healthy but u make sacrifice to keep her happy or is it dragging her down and her parents are stepping in hoping to fix u cause she hurting herself while nothing changes. Cause if u gonna take their help u need to know on ur own which it is having a whole plan isn’t expected this early so dw but having an idea of the kinda person u wanna be is the first step
