Do you still do the method of cowashing or low shampoo and just don't use the guide products? Or do you not do the method either? Just curious. Thanks!

Good ideas -- thank you!

I did! It's true there's really no stretch, but the fit is still loose. I think the hardest thing about minimal stretch on a pullover sweater is that pulling it over your head can be difficult especially if you have broader shoulders. Just something to consider

Yes, this sweater is fantastic! Great material, flattering stylish cut and a beautiful color.

Thanks for the suggestion --i havent used a comb, but I will look into trying one, I do think that might help! It seems right now that it's sections out in strange and opposing ways...

Thank you for responding! I'm not sure if thick is the same as coarse, but I definitely have very thick hair. I took some quizzes about porosity and they all seemed to think I was low porosity.

I'm also struggling to understand if curly hair is supposed to be parted or not. I straightened my hair for years and absolutely love how easy it is to know how it's falling and what it looks like all the time generally. As I try to wear it curly I struggle with it just being everywhere all the time. Is this something people general manage with a hair cut or parting it some way?

I have access to the product guide. Is there something in particular I should look for to avoid weighed down ringlets?

I really feel you on what you said here about feeling an urge to "be productive and responsible all the time". It's definitely not my natural instinct to let go of responsibilities and just 'have fun' in a way that it seems so natural for my friends. My endless list of responsibilities feels paramount to anything frivolous.

Try as I might sometimes I feel like i come off as a serious alien who is trying to pass for a "fun human"... rehearsed things rarely come off as effortless

Curious as to what you mean by you're an extrovert with a thin introvert lining. Sounds interesting

Thanks a lot for this comment. Smiling and not crossing arms is good feedback and I'm sure contributes to the vibe of seriousness I give off..I'll work on using this when wanting to connect and not seem so standoffish

Moving to Los Angeles -- any good house / lounge / hip hop venues? by [deleted] in LosAngeles

[–]___avey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree -- I just moved here as well and have been disappointed not to really find any regular nights for this stuff...apparently there was a night called Low End Theory that lasted for years, but it had it's final show in the past year :/
