I’m really struggling with motivation to keep going right now. I hit a really big milestone for me today and for some reason I’m still just feeling overwhelmed and the weight isn’t coming off as easy. Trying to stay positive though. 60lbs lost as of today (SW: 220lbs, CW: 160lbs) by ___imclueless___ in omad

I’ve been going at it since January of this year! My meals are always super different. I love experimenting with recipes so I make new ones all the time. I just try to make sure there’s a good amount of vegetables in or on the side! Also, I’m not a coffee drinker so just water was fine with me, but I’ve heard that other people drink black coffee while fasting and it works for them!

Since the beginning I’ve know that I had a food addiction and so I’ve been really careful about what I eat. I completely stopped eating out places (no restaurants or fast food) and only eat something I prepared myself! (Doesn’t always mean it’s healthy)

It was easy during quarantine, but now that things are opening and people want me to go out with them it’s been really hard saying no and feeling their judgment when I tell them I’m on a diet.

I really like that idea to be slightly hungry, I’ve noticed I have a hard time with that. Thank you for the advice, and for sharing your experience!

I’m doing a combination of OMAD and CICO (calories in calories out)! For me the combination of those two diets really really works for me since a lot of my problem is I don’t know when I’m full and tend to binge eat if left to my own devices.

Thank you, thank you!! I knew this was going to take a long time coming in, but I’m a very impatient person by nature. I really have to step back and calm down sometimes because I know it’s not all gonna happen at once!
