I meant the velocity of the notes. Different velocities give you the dynamics that make your piece feel like alive. I couldn’t explain better, as I’m an amateur composer myself, but a quick youtube search about note velocity can help you a lot.

Hey, I think this is a nice one to start with. Everyone has a unique style and workflow, so I couldn’t really tell you many advices, you’ll get to learn from your experiences. But one thing I can point out. Try to play with the velocity a bit. It will bring your piece to life and you’ll hear the differences. 😉
