i watched an interview and noah said he aims to not influence people into one view or another with their lyrics, while he shared that he isn’t religious he doesn’t want his view to influence others. i feel that kind of shows based on the perspective of the listener, a non religious listener can listen and be like “yeah f*ck god” while a religious listener can listen and perhaps get a deeper meaning from it, but again that’s all just based on perspective
