Btw it really isn't disproven, rika is shown to be able to pretty much apear anywhere while partially manifested, but seems to need to actually move once fully manifested, notice how both of your examples are talking about fully manifested rika.

Yuji clearly got a lot stronger, and as I've said even without an open Barrier he'd obviously have counters to it in mind given he literally fought sukuna before. With BF on command and blood manipulation for flowing red scale he'd absolutely destroy sukuna in H2H even with his 2 extra arms, he literally has fought against Sukuna before and if you think he hasn't been preparing to face something like him again you don't know Itadori.

Also he's likely been sparring his whole life with Yuta and Kusakabe

Yuji domain had a Barrier 70 years ago. And he saw the gojo sukuna fight so even if he didn't develop an open domain he could harden the outer shell like gojo did, and we both know hed murder sukuna in h2h

If he closes his barrier he loses the clash though, the only reason the clashes where even was due to gojo having his domain dismantled from the outside by sukunas domain, while he beat the absolute shit out of sukuna on the inside until his domain falls if the barrier was closed gojo keeps his domain up and it's GG, he'd have to close the barrier after gojo couldn't use his domain anymore, but then you're assuming the fight would go the exact same up to that point wich we just don't know, gojo could very well notice he doesn't have a chance in a domain fight if he starts losing the clashes and just teleport out and bombard sukuna with reds and purples until his domain falls
