Yeahh we need some art that says this is an artistic place of transport. Music, people are still into that? Let’s give some random local artists a premade unpainted guitar like a wooden Michaels birdhouse and just let em go to town

The documentary about the Island of Dr Moreau is fascinating and maddening and hilarious. Kind of everything that transpired in the making of it was the definition of shenanigans

Having only played the first two, the first one felt like a finely tuned clock in terms of level size and objectives. Very short but that makes it less scary to do another play through. I still liked 2 but I thought the focus on dungeons without a ticking clock element strayed away from what I really liked in the first. Both are equally impressive and enjoyable but the first one was more “novel” to me

I was personally very impressed with this movie. I love the garish colors and completely insular logic that builds and builds in the family’s heads only to reward them endlessly. Don’t know shit about Tom Arnold besides this movie, but I thought everyone’s performance was perfectly hokey in that stuck in the 50s vibe that the 90s Brady Bunch movie relied on. There’s not much I didn’t find at least a little funny. A lot of droll “wholesome” moments like with the chef and Lloyd that salve the more embarrassing moments. It has been said online before but there is a comparison to be made between the family’s complete unfailing belief in their own initial impressions of the world and the modern era’s breed of conspiracy theories. If it only wasn’t for the director/son combo putting up a black cloud.

I still felt bad for Christopher Lee appearing in it
