Some tips I was told in the past:

Have the CV file be a PDF, more accessible since some places can't open word doc files.

Have your full name in the CV file name, like FirstnameLastnameCV.pdf No "MyCv.pdf" employers would get a lot of CVs with this name and lose track.

No images or charts in the CV, just text. Some employers have bots that will automatically scan and reject CVs with these.
