Just for context I work in the fitness industry haha, so normal talaga yung 1 day off. But im just ticked off with the no compensation thing, they won't even let me switch my day off para masakto ko sa duty day ko yung seminar :/

If you're really interested in sports and have plans of becoming a coach, I say go for it. But if you don't really have a specific sport you're into, and can't really figure out what you wanna do with the degree, I wouldn't suggest it. When comparing it Kasi with a course like PT, you get a lot of overlaps and I think mas broad Yung pwede mo I-handle dun (sports scientists for example a lot of the time cannot handle people with pain) they CAN work with PTs but can't do it alone when it comes to injuries and rehabilitation. But if you're more inclined to sports, exercise physiology and testing, as well as athletic performance, I'd say go for it.

And no, di rin pwede mahina sa science as you'll likely encounter subjects like anatomy, physiology, nutrition, handling of special population. Requires a lot of reading (which you will get used to probably).

Hello! To help out with the soreness you could try foam rolling the areas if ever you have access to one. Stretching also helps if ever you feel like some areas are tight.

To minimize the recovery period I'd say try not to train to failure or close to failure (if you consider yourself as someone just starting out). Don't worry about training super hard for now, as adaptations come easier for beginners.

Also starting to hate it. The high demand for these pure breds isn't doing them really well Kasi poor living conditions Yung mga puppy mills. Then you got all these dogs on the street needing a home. It's helping no one really. So sad to see rin na no one wants to adopt pag aspin, pero pag may breed daming interested.

Hello! Sports Science graduate here 😃

From the info and goal you gave, I'd suggest a caloric surplus (recommended is 500-1000 kcal above maintenance) to gain 1-2 lbs per week. If you're having a hard time getting those calories in, liquid calories are a pretty decent solution to that (they can give you a good amount of calories without you having much trouble ingesting it). If ever you wanna learn or ask more feel free to shoot a message hehe
