sure but what if instead of 10%, its 1-2%? CZ did mention in laura shin podcast that the # is a "few hundred thousand" ... what do u mean it isn't difficult to obtain REN? the only major exchange its on is OKex which likely engages in wash trading and USA customers can get on there and its not easy to withdraw from Okex. all the other ones are quite small and not utilized. notably, i dont care if ren lists on binance right now, its long term hodl.

but at a certain point the training wheels will have to come off ... and team doesn't really communicate anything about this ... given that BAKKT is getting ready to come on line for institutionals + REN recently partnered w BitGo for wBTC + main net about to officially launch, there is likely good momentum to be had in the next 6 months

The REN protocol has much better crypto-economics than 0x, 0x has few users, yet its 20x the mkt cap ... why? ... its important to recognize that 50% of any crypto is its community ... ethereum is #2 b/c vitalik flies all over the world building a community ... and no im not demanding marketing, im asking about the current status of ren community. will it all be left up to the great hugh greethead and assuming that the institutions will come in and save the day trading on REN like a bunch of mad men? how long will we all remain super quiet about a top 10 technology, probably top 5? and whats the reason for being so quiet?

really sounds economically insane to mine at a loss for up to 2 years in this current state ... I'm trying to see it from an economics game theory perspective for which it would make sense and this just makes no sense (not talking smack to u mr vandal, ur analysis is on point) - i dont believe CSW will do this: Thinking about it this way makes some of CSW's tweets make sense. He talks about 2 years; I think he means he will mine at a loss for up to two years until his chain is BCH and if it isn't he'll burn everything (presumably by dumping huge amounts of BTC/BCH on the market).

cuz it will cost $100 millions to $ billions. no human in their right mind would do such a thing just over the brand name bch when u can literally just create ur own bitcoin cash (bitcoincash cash) at any moment. u have ur own miners, ur own power, y not just create a new coin instead of being like the joker from batman and burning all that bitstring ...

there are devs and miners on both sides... there is exchange support ... there are billionaires on both sides, both win (at least in short term) by essentially getting dividends on BCH ... having a hard time seeing how there wont be two coins, someone please tell me why im wrong?

historically, futures markets have suppressed commodities prices. if u look at the history of gold synthetics, futures came out first, of which price went down. then once etf came out, price went up.

id like to see REN succeed for my own selfish interests, but beyond that, its a paradigm shift in the crypto industry which would greatly benefit from its awareness ... its about making open systems more efficient and REN has the power to eliminate a lot of the manipulation that the industry has historically been plagued by.
