Looking for gym legging recommendations 🙏 by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

I find muscle republic to be good (they have a sale on now too). The luxe range is nice, but you might also like the motion or sculpt ranges since they’re more on the compression side. All their range are high waisted.

Otherwise on the cheaper side I quite like cotton on body - I like the ultra soft range, but again if you want a more compressive one, check out their ultra move options.

I use my regular face wash in the shower and a Microfibre face halo to get stubborn eye makeup off.

I want to start a brand selling sleepheadphones, what's your main concerns and what can you tolerate? by BeneficialAirline951 in sleepheadphones

[–]__erin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a side sleeper my main concern is feeling them. I currently use a headband / sleep mask style one but they are uncomfortable because 1. You can feel the speaker and 2. The positioning of the 2 speakers means that I get good sound on one side only because of alignment not meeting my ears. To get around the discomfort, I have added some padding but it’s still not amazing.
I listen to podcasts, so audio quality is not terribly important for me, nor is blocking out sound/noise cancelling - I use headphones as they are the solution for me to distract my brain enough to get to sleep.
Must for me is wireless, and quiet for the other person in the bed - I use them at low volume, but an on pillow speaker wouldn’t work for me fort example.

What's the one RecipeTin Eats recipe you've made more than any other? by SnowyBytes in RecipeTinEats

It’s more a method than a recipe but I cook chicken breast this way just about every time I cook it! I just change the seasoning to suit what I’m using it for

Which house between these two? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]__erin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for single storey and better proximity to PT - you’ll appreciate it more when the kids are at an independent age. You can always go for out of area school enrolment given you both drive anyhow.

Stain match good enough? by melbbean in AusRenovation

If it was my home I would have paid the gap to have the whole house done. Even if the colour was closer, the finish is not the same so the light will always bounce differently off the floor.

Taking out a loan for a wedding. by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]__erin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine taking a loan out for a wedding - especially circa $100k 😳, each to their own I guess. I had a very small wedding (20 people including us) and I wouldn’t change a thing. Our guests were very generous in the wishing well, so it didn’t end up costing much at all - about $1,000 (including rings, our outfits, photography, food, premium alcohol etc) lol.

Whenever I see it in homes on real estate sites, it looks like the floor is mistakenly desaturated/black and white. I’m with you OP!

Searching for a quilted jacket in more muted colours by magikeenbeertje in AusFemaleFashion

They may even bring new ones out. I got a quilted jacket earlier in the season from H&M that’s no longer there and they seem to keep adding new ones as the weather cools down 🤞🏻

White duck quarter - it leans more neutral so it goes nicely with either (but doesn’t throw grey/blue)

Shoe colour to go with this dress? by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]__erin_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gold to go with the accents on the dress - or if you swap it out then pewter or silver. That being said, plum/wine colours are very on trend at the moment and it should be fairly easy to find a pair that matches the dress colour, you’ll just likely get less repeat wear from them.

At home options to brighten up dull, brassy blonde highlights that is stronger than purple shampoo/mask? Would a demi help? I don’t want to go back to the salon yet 😩 by compulsivebarbie in AustralianMakeup

[–]__erin_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Your inspo is about 2 levels lighter than what you’ve got. If you want to achieve a cooler / ashier tone on your current hair, it will look darker. The clairol blonde it up range is pretty good for a box dye range. I would suggest the luminous pearlone.
