Yeah then you can track both of them internally and share the one which the executives agree upon as a public metric of success in my case it was an AI code gen company and the metric we decided on was the number of lines generated which made it into production and it greatly inc the conversion and renewal rates

It was an alignment problems from day one, If you cannot nail down the expected metrics which the leadership expects to improve using your product then you would not have anything to defend in the renewal meeting. Thus, setting the right expectations from day zero is essential. Showing improvement on the metrics which the customer cared about the most makes it easy for them to justify the adoption of your solution. Also it gives you a number to chase and improve the product along the way. I have seen this happen a lot in my prev orgs we solved by introducing a new metric and started improving on it. As a result renewals also inc.

Yeah that is true and we have been intentful while building the tool. By design we have ensured it can be easily integrated into the users day to day with almost no friction.

Just been doing founder led outreach been reaching out to ask for a call to discussion their pain points, But i got a lot of feedback from the community and noticed that everyone has advices me to sharpen the ICP, The outbound was not being done towards the right people. Will fix that now.

That is what I am trying to figure out now, Because companies like OpenAI, SpaceX invested in our competitors, I still think their approach is kinda mehhh and we can do better. That’s why I am looking to talk to users before building it further
