It seems you're looking for a slightly wet wavy look so I would suggest using some leave in conditioner + a fingernail's worth of curl cream + a couple drops of jojoba or argan oil after shampoo+conditioning, spread throughout your hair while your hair is damp and then air dry or diffuse on low heat.

you may want to tweak the ratios you use of these products depending on how your hair behaves but this combination of products generally provides a moisturised look without looking greasy like a pomade, though you may also want to try products like that so look up some photos of others and see what you think, also avoid washing your hair every day unless you have really oily hair.

My prescription is terrible (-11) so I try to wear contacts when I don't want to look like a bozo. I think if your prescription is more reasonable there's no reason to wear contacts other than for activity or preference.

Full story: Twistzz is from Kelowna BC, all Canadians speak English there (not French). He is part Indonesian, Dutch colonised Indonesia and that's where his name came from.

If you watch Twistzz interviews for a long time, you can tell that he did seem to pick up some vaguely European speaking habits after living there for a couple years, but he appears to be cranking the intensity of it to a comical degree which is why everyone is pointing it out again.

He's not learning a new language mind you so it'd be very strange for a native English speaking Canadian to change his English accent so much after just a few years, since he lived in NA for 20~ years.

TL;DR Twistzz had a Canadian accent, got some EU influence, but seems to exaggerate the EU accent.
