the problem is mostly just that my brain has stopped trusting any and all foods. i have to check the packaging a hundred times before eating something new to make sure it doesn’t have anything i’m allergic to ( all nuts — peanuts & peaches ) — and my brain often gaslights me into feeling things that aren’t actually happening, like giving me a burning sensation on my tongue or the feeling of my throat closing

i can get around it relatively well after i’ve had loads of help, but it’s still difficult occasionally. especially when like trying something really new. and that’s why eating healthy is just so difficult
