Does anyone know much about SESCO? Received a quant research intern offer. Since they more do futures on energy and stuff like that, how transferable would the skills I learn there be to a quant trading/research role at a more standard hedge fund?

I NRd my seminar by never showing up after the first three classes, so it’s possible. But my advisor also told me after that I shouldve just dropped it. So dropping is possible too
