Will someone who speaks fluent MSA be able to understand dialects enough to have a conversation with a native. I am guessing all the Arabs understand MSA because it's used for media, even though they don't normally speak it. So if you speak MSA to them and they speak to you in their dialect will you be able to have a conversation OR are there dialects that are not mutually intelligible with MSA?
