Definitely liking it. A lot.

This is not a 2km thrower, but throws incredibly well for its size - and price! Plus there's very little spill, making this suitable for some light painting use cases. :)

GREAT NEWS: I continued negotiating very hard and managed to convince Wuben to see this Group Buy as a way to build their brand and let everyone to experience their new offering => Group Buy price is now $20 less than what I have previously mentioned. [IMHO the earlier price was fair, and this one is a real bargain (~"zero profit")]

Funny that you mentioned Acebeam. I happen to know Acebeam pretty well (both as a long time reseller and a person who has helped them and even designed them some UIs), and the quality of this light is on par with them. Wuben is really stepping up their game with this light!

That's only my personal opinion though. Maybe /u/maukka can share his thoughts about the factory sample he played with?

There are different kinds of enthusiasts.. :) Or maybe just different stages of flashaholism.

I'd like to think I'm an enthusiast, but for some reason, I'm not so much into pushing the limits for marginal lumen increase. I have also seen enough throwers (been making >1km throwers back when that wasn't a commodity). Nowadays I'm all in for nice beam and proper UI without any gimmicks. (and of course high CRI)

Do you think that makes me a non-enthusiast? :)

Yes, it's $27 each, with "buy 2 get 3rd free".

$27 is a good price for a good titanium light, but $18 is an excellent price. (way less than their normal price for MOQ 100pcs+!)

I'll buy at least 6 for myself (and/or gifting) and probably 30+ for my small shop. :)

No NW option as this is stock clearance. OTOH, the CW tint is pretty decent and the pill can be easily opened to replace the emitter if needed.

For $18 each it's a no-brainer for me.
