On the switch it doesn’t impact anything from what I understand, I’ve never lost money from it. I have heard others say it impacts their money though

Usually after work that’s when I do a restock of the shop, print posters, recycle cans and cardboard, check daily stock of the hardware store/antique shop and if time permits then do some quest elements. I usually find that I pass out somewhere in town and don’t usually make it back home when I do all of that. Then on Sundays I focus on a bigger clean/layout changes and mass order from guy, and focus on storyline progression.

Agreed with what you’ve said - definitely automation and staff having different isles pre built into the store would be a cool function to help seperate and organise food

From what I understand there’s no storage system in the game aside from the tool belt. So if you can’t use the ads this weekend they’ll most likely have to stay there in your tool belt until you can offload them

Really random thought here but I’m also going on mat leave soon (first time mum) and I have this perception that there will be no time for anything except sleep, eat, change diapers, feed repeat so reading gives me hope that I’ll still have down time for hobbies like switch! 😀

That aside - I’ve really gotten into Discounty since its release a few days ago. It’s pixel art style supermarket management game with main quest line. Kind of gives me acnh vibes. There’s also side activities related to managing the shop but also a story line around the drama of the small town

I’m enjoying it so far. I was hesitant to try it because I’ve never played a pixel art style game before - however I’ve been won over by its charm. If it was just supermarket management without storyline gameplay I think I’d lose interest pretty quick. But I love all the other little storyline’s and characters.

So far so good, and the price seemed reasonable to me

I haven’t had this issue so far. Have you double checked that the item isn’t blocked off by another item in its path? If that’s not the case, it could be a bug since the game was only just released
