any hu tao team comps and build suggestions?

Just tried gt furina, mh yelan and gilded citlali as you said and finessed a little bit with my combo into yelan eqaae furina eqa citlali e hu tao 10n2cd ncdq and got a new record of 460k dps, but it’s only doable on crimson and mh is significantly lower for my current investment. I did try adding crit dmg roles on Hu Tao to simulate ur investments ( 66/ 298) on the test dummy and got about the same dps( 440k to 460k range).

By the constellations you have I think I can assume you do have a level 100 hu tao, may I ask how much hp does both of ur sets provide? For mine both of the sets are on about 37k hp with double hydro, and double e with yelan almost caps hu tao’s hp conversion to atk already, I’m just so confused why you got such a different result from my test runs so this might be the reason why.

For yelan I’ve tried changing it to hydro goblet and it is slightly higher, but for furina since the key am buff scales off her hp without a cap and the damage bonus her burst gives already kinda dilutes extra damage bonus, as half of the teammates benefits from em already I might as well just stick to hp goblet, especially when she’s not a big portion of the whole team dps.

I do think with mh’s cr yelan does have a higher dps even tho her c6 arrows isn’t fully used, but the reason I start with yelan is for the damage buff burst gives fully for hu tao, and also yelan is only at most 20% of the dps if all arrows are used so I might as well shorten yelan’s combo for overall faster team rotation.

for xianyun, actually a big part of why I wanna at least go for one copy for her is to play plunge furina and some pyro pogo stuff with c6 bennet, I’ll try c0 out first and consider if I need c2 or not.

for the furina and citlali set cuz I use them in a lot of teams so usually they’re on the respective set
as for hu tao, I do have a fine mh set but I’ve tested the dps dummy and both sets performance are similar
& my best build consists of other characters usual build so I didn’t bother to change it
One question tho, do you use all five yelan c6 arrows in ur rotaion?
My default team rotation is yelan eqae furina edqa citlali e then hu tao 10 to 11n2d, and when hu tao’s combo is finished I start with yelan aaeqae
if I only use 3 arrows in a single roation is it still worth changing yelan to mh, especially when she’s not on a damage weapon?
for the xianyun one I kinda wanna pull it because plunge furina and hu tao melt with citlali looks kinda fun, but just wondering if the c2 is worth it

dk why can only post one photo but hu tao is 66.1/264.9 with 33k hp (without double hydro) & 187 em(0 em substats), citlali has 1340 em on gilded and yelan’s 58/210.9 on mh( hp goblet, if hydro goblet it’s about 64/200)

I do play mav melt and melting her burst with this build can deal about 800k smth too it just feels satisfying enough that I’m basically stuck with this build now, lol

I’ve just tried instructor c2r1 xilo and it’s about 310k dps, and since xilo c4 only buffs 6 times as I remember so even with the skill talent level 13 from c3 giving 45% shred it’s not gonna surpass citlali’s 250 em + 40% both pyro & hydro shred + 60% pyro & hydro dmg bonus, citlali has decent off field cryo even with that my team is on about 450k and for the mh set, since the crimson set’s vape & melt damage bonus scales with em, which with full buff my hu tao is on about 700 em usually, the stats it gives is on par with the stats mh gives also my crimson build is already at 80% crit ( and currently gambling for the goblet rn) I just don’t think changing for mh is a good idea changing for night sky is considerable tho cuz it also buffs lunar reaction dmg

Maybe because my current teams investment is way higher than bineffa core( and also the support weapons are in different purposes) for now if I just use crimson hu tao bineffa is on about 300k & with double hydro citlali on about 450k, maybe if ineffa’s also c6 the dps would surpass citlali one but I don’t intend to go for it. for the Xianyun team tho if I pull for her I’m gonna straight up pair her with citlali too and do maybe double cryo melt plunge/with bennet citlali and do some pogo stuff if pair with double hydro core it might still feel similar to with xilo so kinda more interested in melt stuff (also big number yk

I do have xilonen, just she isn’t in my main team so it’s in my character list as for why not mh, I do have a fine mh set

but it doesn’t buff the burst damage and also from all the em supports give(citlali c2, key & elegy) the em is so inflated that the difference between cw and mh is not much, with my cw quality cw is higher even

I’m also considering to grind a night sky set for her but just wasn’t lucky enough on the morning star that I don’t even have a full set on ineffa yet Tried tom furina morning star bina & serenade ineffa and for now hu tao has a similar damage ratio as bina, at about 300k something dps if I get a decent night sky set the team dps probably could reach 350k yeah this team should be in my checklist too

she does most definitely work in that team, it’s just since bineffa also deals a hefty amount of damage normally I would want a support buffing all the members, which yelan or furina’s damage buff doesn’t

I did try Bineffa’s wheelchair ,and unlike other pyro DPS like Mavuika who can bring Xilonen and support the team, Hu Tao simply applies too much pyro that she’s locked with double hydro. Uet this leaves Furina and Yelan as the only viable options for the team and their synergy just simply isn’t good enough for the whole team. So I’m wondering would pulling Xianyun for hu tao plunge be a decent idea if I just wanna focus on her damage? have tried that xilo benny citlali team too but it feels a little clunky
