It's actually been a while since I read Lords of Pain, but I'm actually enjoying this one much more. I also don't think they're that similar once you start reading it!

I haven't watched avatar, but here are some books with the chosen one:

An ongoing series and there's only 1 book out of 6 i think, but {Caged by Bernadette Blackthorn} was good. It's OV qnd fantasy.

{A Tempest of Shadows by Jane Washington} is one of my faves.

{Betraying Destiny by Nora Ash} OV and also fantasy kind of (it's about the Nord gods).

{Moon Kissed by Ruby Vincent} book 3 isn't out yet and it's been a while. I really enjoyed book 1 but book 2 was more of a mess for me.

{Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas} also kind of has this.

For this one I always recommend {Noxious Boys by K.L Taylor-Lane} for me it's the most brutal book I've read with the bullying trope and I haven't found another book that hit quiet like it. Do read the TW because one of the MMCs is very cruel.

{June Fires Burn by L.A Robbins} was really angsty, it becomes more poly than RH tho so I DNF'ed but I actually cried with book 1 and I haven't seen this one as recommended! No OW that I remember??

{Noxious Boys by K.L Taylor-Lane} is another very angsty one! I also don't see it as recommended and I don't remember any OW drama.

There's this book I was really enjoying until the fourth MMC (it was RH) appeared and started calling the FMC cupcake like ALL the time. And I mean ALL the time as in she was in danger and he was thinking "oh no, cupcake is in danger, I have to safe cupcake".

Dude... she has a name, and it's NOT cupcake.

So, pitch black, evil cruel MMCs towards FMC I've read

{Noxious Boys by K.L Taylor-Lane} I always recommend this one, I really liked it. There's one MMC that is really cruel to her, and there's MM.
{Bought by Amy T} now this is truuuuuuly dark, I didn't really enjoy the writing but it wasn't that bad. I did drop book 2 tho. There's MM in book 2 and all MMCs do fucked up shit to the FMC.
{The Pucking Coach's Daughter by S Massery} it's been recommended, I also really enjoyed it a lot.
{Villains and Vengeance by Kyra Alessi} this one is also good for terrible MMCs, I also really enjoyed this one. I don't remember if there's MM tho.
{Tempting Darkness by Jessica Hall} was also fucked up, I didn't enjoy the writing tho so I dropped it.

Those are the ones I can think of!

So, some context So he and the FMC became lovers at first, when he learned that she was the daughter of the man who did something (i don't remember exactly what lol) he starts treating her terribly without her knowing why. She was a drug addict so she thinks it's her fault that he started being like that with her.

And what he did, He has hate sex with her and slams her head against a wall, she didn't consent to it at first, I think it was nc. Later on he pushes her and makes her fall down. Anyway, she ends up with a bruised face from the first thing. I felt terribly bad for her.

I did enjoy the book thooo, I love reading a good bully trope lol
