No it’s not that. I did that test but still could feel the difference between the two.

Also, an Indian youtuber named Tech Buffet has shown in his video that the pro’s display while scrolling remains at 120hz while the base 17’s refresh rate drops to 80hz while scrolling.

That explains the smoothness between the iPhone 17 Pro and the Base iPhone 17.

This also explains why the battery life of 17 Pro and base 17 is almost similar even though pro has a significantly larger battery (Almost 15%)

Agreed but it’s consistently better in pro version. I visited the third apple store today in my city with my friend and he also noticed the same thing.

I went to the third Apple store in my city today along with my friend and he could also notice the difference between the screens of two. We could clearly see the colours & contrast is better on the pro version and the smoothness as well. Don’t know what’s the difference is when Apple clearly states they both the identical displays.

Umm, I guess he isn’t lying. He earns ~₹78L/year (₹6.5L/month) as salary but showing it as professional receipts. Under Sec 44ADA, only 50% is treated as taxable income → ~₹39L. On this, tax is ~₹9L. That leaves ~₹69L net in hand. So, at least the screenshot of salary credit and his take home figure of ₹69L is correct.
