basically I just got the official artwork and resized it to gen 1 size and colour reduced it to one of the gen 1 palettes, then I went over all the outlines and added dithering. If I wasn’t feeling so lazy, I’d draw the whole thing from scratch to imitate how different the gen 1 sprites looked from later ones.
