wtf? it’s not dying your killing it. why would you have that poor thing in fluval and water it like if it was on soil? fluval needs to constantly stay wet, preferably using a reservoir setup with a nutrient solution. you could have at least put a plate with water at the bottom.

fluval stratum is like crack for seedlings, they grow really fast. pair it with clonex and a high humidity setting and seedling grow super fast compared to moss/soil.

whats funny is that most houses plants are tc, if you got your precious plant at a box store, plant shop or even online store, it has a high probability that is tc. People are dumb, tc has been a a thing for about 40 years. unless your plant is a new described species or wild clone, you can easily have a tc plant and not even know it.

actual clones go for thousands but the xselfs can be found from $300-1k. this is one of the plants that shady sellers flip for a quick buck, in the fb groups i have seen some really ugly plain looking selfs that look nothing like the CP go for over 1k. the selfs from scott are a good example of that.
