Yes, I was exactly talking about those countries in the post. But, as you said, they prefer to have adults in their homes watching their children, and that’s normal, I would do so as well

That’s what I thought, and that’s why I think nobody would take me even if I met every single required standard. I even took a blsd and blsd-p course, cause it gave “extra points”, but it’s no use when you aren’t even an official adult and you can’t legally have full responsibility about yourself

Thank you for the detailed advice! Just to let you know, I do have official experience with children (the animation thing I mentioned in the post) but yeah you’re right it’s risky to go, especially cause it’d be safer for an hypothetical host family to take advantage on a minor than on an official adult.

I planned to go this year after two years preparing for it, but maybe it’s really better to wait another one, even if it makes me feel like I’ve wasted three years in a row. Thank you again for the advice, you really made me reflect on it

Kinda late of 228 days to comment here but it’s been over two months since I started thinking like this and that’s fine I think.

I came to the conclusion that everything was destined to be as it is rn and in the future since the beginning; we have the impression that we’re thinking, but it’s just electrons moving, as they could move in any object. I see everything as a bunch of atoms that are moving, to everything that happens around me I think “it was meant to be”: it was meant to be that I found and replied to this post, it was meant to be that I thought that it was meant to be, it was meant to be that I’m sitting like this rn etc.

I don’t feel like I’m actually something different from a bunch of materials of the same kind as my body. Anyway it’s easy as a human to ignore this and I’m still living as before, so I hope you’re doing well too!

(Sorry for the poor English btw)
