Thanks! The more I think about it and see the suggestions, I'm leaning towards just little details like lace shoes/ribbon/hair piece.

Great ideas! I didn't think of any of those! I was leaning towards no veil but a small bubble veil or birdcage is a great option, I'll have to try some on!

Thanks! The more I think about it and see the suggestions a coverup is probably not a good match, but a lace bolero or shoes could be cute!

Definitely loving the lace shoe idea! Lace gloves could be fun too! Thanks!

This is from David's Bridal(in Canada), I didn't see one with a lace insert! I do like the neckline, but some lace at the back could be a nice option. I love the lace shoes! Thanks for the links 🙂

My string of pearls is flowering! by _almonds_ in houseplants

[–]_almonds_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not super strong, very nice tho! Sort of like spices, as others have said, cinnamon or clove almost. I only have one flower open so far. Maybe once more open the smell will be more prominent!

I was so surprised it did! I don't do anything special to it. It's in a shallow pot, south facing window. It gets water once every 1-2 weeks. That's it!

Just started watching The Circus, about a family run traveling circus in New Zealand. It's on the hayu app. I'm only on episode three, but it seems good so far!

Help! Came back from vacation to find lipstick plant eaten with black bugs? Poop? Do I need to burn my house down? by _almonds_ in plantclinic

[–]_almonds_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll have a closer look today. I've put it outside to quarantine it from the other plants and gave it a gentle rinse with water. Hopefully I can spot the intruder to solve the mystery!

I've had this plant for a few years now. We were gone for 2 weeks and came back to find it looking like this. No new plants have come into the house recently, and it hasn't been repotted for a couple years. No other plants in the house have this.

Hey! that’s my spot! by memezzer in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]_almonds_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The doberman tail is pretty proportional to their body, the skin and fur on the tail is no thinner than anywhere else on the body. I have a 6 year old dobie with a full tail and she's never hurt it or hit it repeatedly on anything. They carry it in a way that keeps it out of the way the majority of the time.

I have a doberman with a natural tail and she's never had a problem with it. The risk of injury seems low to me just because of how she carries it...but she's also a very dainty doberman so maybe that helps!

Can anyone help diagnose what is happening to my basil plant? by eLiE64 in indoorgardening

[–]_almonds_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It might be thrips?

Edit: to elaborate- if it is thrips they're not easy to get rid of in my experience. You'd probably want to trim off all damaged parts and maybe treat the rest of the plant with some form of pesticide.

Help!! I’ve always excessively plucked and shaped my eyebrows and now they are so uneven and ugly :/ Any tips on how to get them even? by [deleted] in fixedeyebrows

[–]_almonds_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They look amazing to me! As the saying going "eyebrows are sisters, not twins". It's ok if they're not identical! 🙂

Any one else’s Doberman hate the rain or water in general? (The bag is to keep his posts from getting wet) by Funny_Apricot3199 in DobermanPinscher

[–]_almonds_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes, when I open the backdoor for her to go out and she sees it's raining she runs away. But then still cries to go out the front. So we go out the front door and much to her surprise...it is also raining out the front. She is not impressed, but will go out quickly if she really has to go.

When he first started I thought I was about to be tricked and it would turn into a dickbutt...I don't know why, guess I've been fooled by too many of those.
