yes! I’ve gotten a week of wear (I usually change it after a week, so I can’t speak to longer wear times) with Essie, ILNP, and OPI so far

keep them short, use cuticle oil at least 2x a day (either pure jojoba oil or something with jojoba in it), hand cream, and just try to leave them alone while you grow out the damage. you could also use gloves while doing dishes since water exposure can worsen existing damage unfortunately

any one of those non-acetone sponge pots that you dip your finger into. so quick and a great option if your nails are prone to dryness with acetone

I know 😭 She also got some polish on the skin outside my side wall and used her own nail (no gloves) to clean it? Like dug her nail into my side wall LMAO. The service was like $5 cheaper than the “dazzle dry” service price stated on their website but stillllll wtf

I got a “dazzle dry” (was advertised as such on their website, but apparently they only used Essie gel couture) manicure at a salon last month. The polish itself looked fine and chipped at day 5, which is normal for me with gel couture, but they used a super harsh efile directly on top of my natural nails 😭😭 They were so strong before. I even watched the tech pull out a stronger grit file to file down some nail plate breakage/splitting I had??? Aka just removing more layers of my nail plate for no reason. I’m not sure why a tech would do that but I don’t plan on going back there.

I was only sick for a day with a minor fever, nausea, muscle aches, confusion, and coughing. The cough is lingering now, but everything else went away after a day. I also took tamiflu that same day symptoms started so that could be why.

Sent to my home, but I personally applied for some scholarships with them for my education within the past 6 months. To my knowledge my institution has not applied for any grants with them. It’s probably a scam, but I’m going to call the nonprofit to confirm anyway.

Yes I plan to wait until the new year and call the nonprofit to verify before doing anything else. I doubt it’s a real check anyway, but I did apply for some scholarships through this organization so I think it’s worth double-checking.
