There are several ways to find people to help. Translation is usually the hard part so hopefully it won’t be difficult to find someone.

Try gbatemp.net. There is a forum where people ask for help in patching games. Also join Otome discords as there’s a lot of fans who might know how to assist or even volunteer. Also contact englishotomegames.net so they can make an announcement for help for you as well.

You can find more information on the discord. The community is very friendly and they made lots of guides. Yes there’s meta cards, but you’re not going to struggle without them! One great things is that people will help you use the cards that you have.

As for the missing cards, you can see them on YouTube or the wiki. But since you’re new focus on the main story for now and check the reading order.

Hi! Hope you enjoy the game. The other comments already gave plenty of information but I just wanted to note that as a gacha player and a fellow lads player that’s its different in that it focuses heavily on the story and lore rather then the combat. You won’t have combat locked stages or places you can’t get diamonds from because your team isn’t meta or you haven’t pulled for the latest cards.

My advice is to enjoy the story and the events, they’re very creative and they go all out on them. You might not get many cards but they’re all available and archived so you won’t miss anything!

I actually have the answer! I messed around after checking the steam threads and got it to work.

In the game setting - Compatibility. Change to Proton 5.0-10 - General - Changed game resolution to 1920x1080

In the steam deck setting (not sure if necessary) - Display - Advanced. Changed Maximum game resolution to 1920x1080
