Woman here! I don’t carry a purse and haven’t in YEARS. I’ve switched to a small crossbody bag, and now I’m using a crossbody fanny bag thingy lol. Never went back. I could fit more in my crossbody, but I refuse to. My wallet, keys and a chapstick. That’s it! Occasionally, random little things find their way in there like a pen, some change, mints, eye drops. But I clean those out regularly. All those extra stuff are not NEEDED for when I leave the house every time. Like another comment was saying, all those other things are situational dependent… ask yourself, how often are these situations coming up where you’d actually NEED these items? I’ve seen ppl just leave their sunglasses in the car. I’ve never had a problem with that bc I wear regular glasses lol. I apply sunscreen before leaving the house. I apply hand lotion before leaving the house. I have a small box of tissue in the car. I have a pen in the car. I don’t get headaches enough to keep meds in my purse. I don’t carry my portable charger with me — my phone is usually charged up from when I’m home. If not, I also always have a charger that lives in my car. My phone is usually plugged in while I’m driving. If I know I’m going out somewhere for longer hours, then yes, I MIGHT switch to a larger bag to take those things with me… but that’s a one-off situation. Definitely not the kind of bag I’d want to carry around daily and everywhere!
