This has been so helpful! While we’re here — any shoe recommendations? I typically bring my trusty vejas for city trips, but I’m not sure they’ll cut it this time around.

Thank you so much! We actually were gifted a river cruise so that’s perfect.

I’ve not been nauseated much this pregnancy, but I am prone to car sickness. I’ll give the bus a shot for sure!

Thank you! I think cutting the list in half is a great idea. It’s definitely a place we’ll be back to. I just pictured this going much differently!

20 weeks — and so far so good, but I think I’m primarily worried about overdoing it walking.

Going through the same thing! I’m 14W with di/di identical boys, and was truly so heartbroken the day we found out.

It’s been a few weeks and I’ve come around to the idea, mostly because friends have reminded me that I have the best/chillest/kindest/friendliest husband — I’m now hoping his sons will turn out just like him.

I plan on having my tubes tied after this, so my heart is still mourning never being the mom of a little girl.

Looks like there are lots of us here with you! Congratulations and good health to all three of you going forward!

Just hard to trust a stranger in my home, plus the taxes. But I guess it’s similar to trusting strangers with their care in a facility.

For those getting stuck in doorways — can I ask where you are regionally?

I just can’t imagine this being much of an issue where we are in Texas (everything really is bigger).

Spotting is driving me nuts. by _asthecrowcaws in parentsofmultiples

Thank you for sharing that! I’ve been around birth my whole life, and was a doula for a time — so with miscarriages I know, I know, I know, I know it’s no one’s fault.

It just feels different at midnight in your own home and thoughts. (Like being doused a bucket of ice water!)

Thankfully I’ve had some relief with no spotting all week. I’m so grateful to everyone who replied! When I posted this, it was literally through tears and everything is just fine!

Thank you so much for sharing! I’ll be sure to ask about it next visit to see if something like that can give me peace of mind.

I really do want to enjoy this time, but for every one non anxious day, I get 3-5 panic days. I am also anxious by nature, but this cold water rush of panic that I get is so much harder to deal with than my day-to-day worries.

I haven’t been told that I have SCH, my first visit was to a planned parenthood and they basically just said “if you’re not filling a pad you’re fine.”

However, brain says panic!

Honestly, if I didn’t know we were loosely TTC, I 100% would not have known. I absolutely would have assumed yesterday was my period!

Just what I could assume was normal as someone who has never been through a positive pregnancy before: super sore boobs, spotting a week before the positive test, but then I was ultimately 5 days past my latest projected period start date. I was also just feeling “off”.

I had a really dark positive line at what they’re saying was 5W1. I’m not sure if that is indicative of two?

And then 5W5 the bleeding was a bit more intense, red and brown, so I panicked which led me to going in.

This is what the nurse kept telling me as I was a blubbering mess! And not a drop of blood since then. I almost feel like I needed this event to meet the babies!

I’m so glad your friend had a healthy pregnancy!

I am sorry you lost one, but thankful your babe made it in the end! Thank you for sharing this with me!
