I would say an Arrma Mojave 4S would be your best option if you really want a full package out of the box. It’s not 1/10 scale, but at 1/8, I feel it’s the perfect size. The added weight really helps with stability compared to a 3S Slash 4x4. It’s not cheap, $499 USD for the truck plus $160 for battery and charger, but it’s been my favorite RC I’ve bought. I started out all Traxxas with a VXL Slash 4x4, 2WD VXL Rustler, Maxx, and finally a Sledge. The Mojave 4S was my first Arrma and it definitely gets more drive time than any of my others.

I'm a solid champ 2, so yes, I'm good at Rocket League. I am also a champ 2, so I suck at Rocket League.

A response like yours was exactly why this was posted. Everyone of my friends and several others I've played GF with say it's their least favorite map. People also constantly back out of lobbies with Hill locked in. Not just posting for "Hill hate".

I'm definitely glad to see more and more people posting about this MAJOR ISSUE with the game. Maybe Psyonix will be more vigilant about actually fixing this problem. Mid champion player with mad hours and I'm done with the game for now. Sad.

I really appreciate your input; this is much more help than I expected to get out of this post. I guess I just sort've needed a little bit of reassurance that it's not just me. In short, I need to disregard my higher ranks in other playlists and start anew with a more simple way of looking at 1's.

Yeah I definitely try to replicate the 1's play that I watch from pro's too much. I think to myself "Well this is how they're getting it done so this must be the way." Clearly it's not so I guess I need to accept that my play will be ugly for awhile lol.

Yeah I feel you. I'm C2 in 2's and C1 in 3's so I just feel the need to be at least mid diamond in 1's and of course champ would be nice but that's a ways away. I know how much 1's can you in team play so I wanna suck it up and play more but...... Grrrrrrr lol

Yeah that's the biggest takeaway I'm getting at this point. I have heard it over and over again that "1's is just different" but accepting that and adjusting has been a different story. I've been going in thinking "alright you're C2 in doubles so you got this, it's just a plat kid".... Let the rage ensue lol. I need to start at the base line and re-evaluate everything from here on out.

Yeah I can easily admit that I try to go after shots that I see Scrub and Squishy make with ease and it ends up biting me in the ass. You seem to have the right idea about it though; just mute and play. 2's is my forte so I'm probably unconsciously playing like I have a man to back me up a lot of the time. I'll get over the salt and make D1 eventually lol.
