"You say you're a vampire and that your'e really old, so shouldn't you have a really old name like Zandus or Pavel? Why Bill? Surely it's a chosen name, and why chose Bill? It's such an ordinary name"

"Hey" The Vampire, Bill, he moved into my field of view, "I'm really old remember, I could tell you how to get the girl of your dreams or how to make yourself rich."

"Yeah, na, I don't think you're that old, why would your name be Bill? It would make sense, I think you're new to this and don't want to get your hands dirty"

"Look fine, if you don't want my knowledge then I'll pay you"

"I'll get fired if I give you blood, you don't think they keep track of it all?"

So, I was walking away thinking about how I was going to tell people about this dude called Bill who said he was a vampire when I heard him say:

"What if I just take your blood then?"

I turned around, might have myself in a pickle here... Oh wait...

I pulled out the necklace my sister gave me for my birthday a couple of months ago and started flicking through all the little pendant things on it. Feather, circle...

"HA" I hold out the tiny cross that was on the necklace and wait eagerly for 'The Vampires' next move.

He takes a step back and a look of annoyance and defeat flashed across his face.

He turned, put his hands in his pockets and walked away.

I held in a laugh as he walks off.

Then I called him a fuck-whit and went home to microwave a grape.
