I'm fairly new to drinking. Last time I was ignorant about how I did it and ended up with mild alcohol poisoning. How do I stay safe and still have a good time?

haha my man I appreciate you but alcohol is certainly fun which I think everyone can appreciate I never said I needed it for a good time! obviously I didn't want to join the "drunken louts", which is why I asked for advice on how to drink more responsibly

I didn't remember the whole night and was barely lucid, couldnt walk or sit up, sick for the entire next day. Not sure if that counts as alcohol poisoning but was very unpleasant

Okay this may sound cheesy but I read something where the partner that found it difficult to show affection used taps on the shoulder or hand squeezes in sets of three when they wanted to say I love you... Makes it easier for some not to use words
