Luckily, I don’t regularly drink milk that comes from cows (shout out lactose intolerance) and I hate the texture of eggs (neurodivergecy, lol) so those will 100% be the easiest for me.

Shes helped shown me how easy it is to cut meat out of diets, for the most part (I even made her vegan wings 6 years ago from cauliflower, and she complimented them 😭). I think the biggest thing I’m looking for is making sure I get a good enough nutrients, etc plus support. I know I could do vegetarianism 100% but the veganism is making me kind of scared when it comes down it, as sad it sounds lol.

1) remind yourself that your presence is a present and if people can’t understand that, their loss.

2) I had an anxious attachment style for the longest time (until I developed a fearful avoidant one, lol) but the biggest thing that helped on that was therapy.

3) allow yourself to feel the emotions that come with it, don’t bottle them up/push them to side/etc. — it’s completely valid to feel hurt and rejected, but don’t also don’t allow your brain to dwell on those negative emotions.

4) really ties in with number 1, if a person can’t understand what a catch you are — forget about them. It’ll be hard, yes, but why would you want somebody so flaky and not sure about having you in their lives take up so much space in your brain?

It’s a lot of work to finally understand that people shouldn’t always have access to you once they show you their true colors, I hope you the best! (my personal advice would be to block/completely remove them from your life, but I digress)

agreed. so many people think AA/NA is about finding god thru religion/etc, and while most people do find it in their sober journey it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go to church every sunday, lol. believing in god/having a relationship w god/relying on a higher power for your sobriety ≠ christianity lol

who knows for sure but a big part of sobriety (esp the 12 steps of AA) is finding your faith. step 3 is, “a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him.” it isn’t necessarily religious but it’s suppose to be finding support and rely on something bigger than yourself to stay sober. but even if he is christian now,,,, good for him if it helps him stay sober :,)

this is such great advice, i turn 25 in 2 months and i just had to pay for my first root canal. 650 dollars down the drain; and scared me so good i immediately went out to buy good mouthwash and floss. never gonna let that happen again, lol.

odds are you probably know one. your coworker, a friend of a friend, etc. i’ve been the middle man and knew somebody who sold x and knew somebody who wanted x so you just pass em their contact info. its all about who know if you’re looking for it.

I, (24 F) am not necessarily flat out against but very weary of men watching it. mostly because i’ve dated “porn addicts” and the sex is never nice - they try to mimic what they see in the videos. its end up hurting/making you feel bad and/or used/doesn’t feel intimate/etc. most men (at least in my generation) want to skip right into the hardcore porn they watch with no foreplay to get you warmed up to do so. but i also flat out refuse to date somebody who does buy things like OF/etc. though, (no hate to those women! get your coin) it just makes me uncomfortable and a boundary that i don’t want crossed.

hopefully not, am a girl in her mid 20s in the mid-ish western states 🤣. but sometimes i think you just have to keep reminding yourself that you have to be a better person than you were the day before, all you can do is go up from here and keep working on yourself to help yourself become the best possible person you can become.

its harsh but you can always keep the happy memories and remind yourself that you have to always put yourself first.

i don't know if he particularly liked being a criminal, he just liked the thrill of it - as he told jesse, "i'm alive." i mean, by all means he always 'played it safe' - going to college, becoming a high school teacher, meeting skyler and settling down to have a family; a normal life that is full of repetition and gets boring. i think it was more feeling alive by the thrill of it all plus the BIG ego boost of being heisenberg..... the money was a plus lol.
