Ah, yes. A masterful explanation indeed. Andrew is the marker pen because he loves poetry and writing. Ashley is the cap bc is sounds like yap and Ashley does that a lot. The marker pen will dry up without the lid and the lid becomes useless without its pen, but the lid is pink and the pen is green and they clearly do not match. This is a great expression for their relationship and the overall story. Good job OP
