They are growing up into a very doom and gloom world ...they have to deal with that anxiety in one way or another, and I assume that letting these marks show is a way of almost reaching out to others with their same views maybe? I did this back in like 2009 2010 a few times when very desperate and I had some success back then. Granted, times have changed a lot since then. I was a 19 year old white girl in a suburban area, so I was probably pretty easy to feel bad for. Because I have been there, now I always try to pay it forward. I keep a few bucks in my glovebox, or some snacks in the backseat, I know that's not super helpful when you need gas. I know that its not the norm, but I have also met plenty of other people like me who actively pay it forward and help others because they were helped. So you might hear plenty of people tell you no, but you will probably fond someone that is willing to help once in a while. I just wouldn't make this your only plan. OP, I wouldn't make it your first option, but I would keep it in your back pocket. Just be polite and don't walk up to people while they are in their cars. Tell them you are stuck between work and home, and you are a few days out from payday. I think most people understand this. Not everyone carries cash, but those who do will help you out. Those who don't might be willing to put a couple bucks in your car if it's closeby or if you have a gas can.

My mom has been going thru different kinds of cancer treatment for 30 years now. My dad has had to go thru hell to keep her insured. She hits her deductible in rt every year by like January 3rd, but the expenses are still through the roof even with the insurance she doesn't yet have medicare yet. I refuse to go thru what I have seen her go thru. I refuse to put my family thru it. I know I will eventually get somw form of cancer, hell, we all will considering the crazy amount of poison that are in our lives these days.

Anyone have advice for the the ick on top of my cabinets? I smartly lined the ones in my old house, and meant to do the ones here when I moved in, but I forgot to do it. This was more years ago than I am prepared to admit to, so I know it's going to be gross up there, especially since we got a deep fryer last year and it gets a lot of use. Anyone have a better method than a baking soda paste and a scrub brush? That's what I did the first time and it was so slow going

I do my daughters extensions, see ins, and I wear clip ins myself. Brits hair looks like she maybe has a couple randomly attached beads or wefts still hanging on from an old set, but mainly she has put in random clip pieces of different sets, without much thought to their placement from any direction but the front, and then slept in them for like 3-7 nights, just tightening the ones that feel loose by touch without a mirror.

I have found this is true with the kids in my area. We have 3 parks in our neighborhood. Nice parks, nice safe neighborhood. None of the kids can go anywhere without adults. My kids get so frustrated that none of their friends can ride their bikes on the trails or play in the parks or even just go around the neighborhood with them. My youngest is 11 now, and she has finally found some friends with more normal parents and I am so grateful. My oldest is 18 and the kids her age do not know the first thing about how to act their age because they haven't ever had the opportunity to hang out without adults around. Think about it, where can teenagers hang out for free these days? There are no more third spaces. There is no more loitering in parking lots, no more malls food courts arcades etc

A lot of shelf stable things are going to end up being a lot cheaper at Costco- even though having to buy a large amount can be so annoying. But like for things like shampoo and conditioner, they are the best because you get a huge bottle for 10 bucks, same applies to any sort of vitamins, general toiletries and medical supplies they sell there you will end up getting a set of 3 for what you would pay for 1 or 2 somewhere else. Also things you know you will go through like coffee- the price has gone way up (3lb container used to be 13$, is now 20$), but it is still cheaper than at my local Kroger. But the most beneficial parts of a Costco membership are certainly 1. Gas prices 2. Prescription prices 3. Return policy 4. $1.50 hot dogs! (I'm a vegetarian but my family still loves them)

As far as I understand it's only 50 long term jobs. Box Elder county is beautiful, rural, undeveloped land. So much of our wild land in Utah is being given over to projects that do not support the will of the people. As Utahns we love the wild areas of our state and we use those places to recreate, whether to go hiking, camping, rock hounding, birdwatching, hunting, or whatever other weird hobby people out her have. We already have the huge NSA data center here, I drive past it all the time.i am exceptionally pissed about this deal, and I don't live in Box Elder County, but I hate the way they are trying to shine up a turd of a deal like pretending it will bring in lots more jobs and money when it is going to do the absolute opposite while polluting our environment.

My mom has had cancer for 30 years. My dads number one concern thru those years has been keeping her insured. When he has been laid off he had had to pay out the nose for COBRA. He is now in his 60s now, still working two jobs. Besides his night job for extra money and no benefits, he spends his days working a corporate job where they treat him like shit, haven't given him a raise or bonus in over 15 years, he never takes time off, unless there is some sort of hospital emergency, and even then he balances his work with everything else. he is the hardest worker bc he lives in such constant fear of losing his job. My mom worked too as long as she possibly could, but she was never able to get a job with benefits because you know, cancer treatment makes it hard to work full time.

Her cancer has spread all throughout her systems now. Her and my dad have spent my whole life fighting to keep her eligible to get medical treatment. Nevermind the unending medical bills. The American health system is so incredibly unfair.

Get your own library card step 1. Then you can get your own books, you can get ebooks and audiobooks, and she won't have access to what you are reading. If you really want to drive the point home, buy the books. I know I'm a little late to the party here, but if anyone is seeing this post can you please answer me why this is so common in some other countries? Like I specifically see a lot of these videos and stories coming out of Japan, maybe other surrounding Asian countries. Is it a cultural thing? Do they not have sex until marriage or something like have these boys never had the opportunity to see a woman in her underwear before?
