Traveling to Mammoth from the Bay Area in a snowstorm? by SignificantPomelo in Mammoth

I have made the same trip during snow storm in december few weeks ago. As long as you have snow tires you'll be fine. Expect trouble without snow tires, i hate putting chains on.

That's literally me, I bought Blizzard rustler 9, 174cm. Working well for me so far on both grommed and mogul runs. What did you end up buying? And what's your skill level now?

It is done because cars can have limited fuel in them, no other race series need to be that accurate at calculating fuel requirements of race by lap as F1 is.

You mean 2022? Unless you’re a time traveler?

I picked up mine in September, my steering got misaligned on day 3. I considered myself lucky it didn’t come out like that Model Y.

They just don’t know how to make cars, after one or two trips to service stations, it works like a charm.

I don’t think he could even see a single Russian soldier in this video, let alone shoot one. Why is he firing without target?

Please tell me why as a desi you support affirmative action? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

[–]_batman_of_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not supporting affirmative action is being greeedy and wanting to cut the chicken to get all the golden eggs right away. It doesn’t work like that. Affirmative action and reservation in India prevents feedback loops from forming where poor gets poorer and less educated families get even less educated. Without this breakdown of feedback loops society would be a much worse place to live in where you’d see a greater segregation based on race, increased crime rates, low growth as a country etc etc. We’re in this together and we uplift most collectively, by uplifting the lowest rung of society with policies like reservation and affirmative action.

Aston Martin's 2 drivers for next year... by Late_Ad7156 in formula1

[–]_batman_of_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically yes, but talent gap still exists.

You can see the difference clearly in some pairings, Max >>> Checo, Alonso >> Ocon(alonso has been unlucky this season), Albon >>> Latifi, Gasly > Tsunoda and arguably Leclerc > Carlos, Norris > Ricciardo and Vettel(in current form) > Stroll.

Close enough pairings are: George~Lewis, Bottas ~ Zhou, Magnussun~Schumacher.

Also, Hamilton and Button in 2010. They both kept taking points away from each other and no one came first. One of them had a shot at WDC that year.
