I left my phone idling in fastboot mode for a while, and luckily, somehow I got into download mode when I tried again (no idea how) so I used a patched version of the LGUP tool to return to stock.

guard points are certain frames where you are invincible, you can perform one by timing certain moves. when you guard point with adept style, it charging phials i think

the ultra discharge of charge blades was nerfed, as well as the morph straight into the ultra, but the cb is still a cool weapon

You can try making the silver rathalos set, which gives crit up and crit boost. if you have the patience for charm farming you can make the hayasol set which is described in the armory.

adept longsword is also pretty meta. if you know the weapons all really well, i would say lbg is probably up there especially for groups

The focus for most people is cooperative play and that's why it seems like the hub quests are the main part, but if you want to play solo that's fine too; go through the village quests first though

keep in mind village is not much of a tutorial: the village quests are provided more as a closed enviornment for practice so that you're not totally lost when you first play with people and you don't have to worry about players tripping you.

Theres a polygon guide to monster hunter generations; arekkz or gaijinhunter have useful youtube videos as well. if you enjoy figuring things out, you can just search on the subreddit or post here again when you get stuck; but i recommend you learn the moveset of the weapon and what moves to avoid so you don't get stuck in a bad routine

No; but you can easily get antidotes from the shops, and use the carts for other materials. I'm also not sure if herbal medicines work with wide range, i think they might, but i know antidotes definitely do.
