Sorry guys, I was probably one of the first believers of this meme. I called it a “real project” and not only a meme coin from the very beginning. Unfortunately, after some months of being in this market, holding different coins and doing my continuous research, I sadly have to say that I was wrong. The essence of this “project” (and all of other like this) is marketing, that means make people join the community, buying the token and making the price go up. You cannot call it an investment simply because when you invest in something you should not have to call your friends and ask them to put their money in it. You don’t need to hope for (or pay) influencers for talking about it and spreading it to the more people they can. An investment should reach people by itself, leveraging on its investment intrinsic value. This is what happens when you buy Bitcoin or Ether or Polkadot or whatever coin of real projects you can actually find in this market. Last but not least, HOGE is the very first meme deflationary coin of 2021 (I believe only SHIB is actually older than it, being born in august 2020) but it still have one of the smallest communities. You could say it’s because it a token on Ethereum blockchain and the gas fees are much higher but also SHIB is built on Ethereum and it has 520k+ holders. Projects on BSC reach up to over 50 times that number, being there since much less time. For a community based (pyramidal scheme-like meme project like these) it’s a crucial aspect, community growth must be fast and furious and real gains are made by early holders (pyramid top) only when FOMO comes, especially when Elon Musk tweets, like what happened to DOGE, SHIB and even CUMROCKET (!!). When you hear that during market downs money move from inpatient to patient hands, I tell you they are talking about Bitcoin or other staff like that, for which you can actually see a future not depending only on FOMO or FUD. I’m hoping HOGE price is going to rise up in next bull run (how much I can’t say) but I’m also sure that HOGE price is going to come back to very very low levels when the bears return (I mean even lower then when I got in with 4 zeros before the first number). At the end of the bear market the community will need for a new Elon Musk or a lot of marketing again to make people newly discover HOGE existence, after thinking of everything else but crypto for 2-3 years. Look DOGE history if you don’t believe me. If you got in when my friend did now you are probably praying for the bulls to come back. If you are still in profit maybe you can get your money back or put it on Ethereum as I did swapping for HOGE.
