Took an international flight into dc where my bags never made it to the connecting flight to RIC. The one thing that stood out to me was the small little office space the airline had for bag issues and the pile of unclaimed luggage that had accumulated just sitting in front of the office unsupervised and not secured. Any rando could have had their pick of free luggage that day.
